TYLER YOUNG

2014-2015

Hometown: Cypress, TX Undergraduate: Rice University Major: Bioengineering, 2012

Technology: BreathAlert Experience:After graduating from Rice University with a BS in Bioengineering, Tyler Young attended Virginia Tech where he earned his MS in Biomedical Engineering. Tyler then worked as a Rice 360° Global Health Fellow from 2013-2015. His work focused on the development and testing of a low-cost neonatal apnea monitor. After his time at Rice 360°, Tyler attended Baylor College of Medicine where he earned his MD. Currently, Tyler is an obstetrics and gynecology resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
